Our range of activities in the field of individual defence includes the strategic support and defence of the client in all stages of criminal proceedings, i.e. in the preliminary, interim and main proceedings as well as in the appeal instance.

Our advisory approach is consistently geared towards an efficient, swift and quiet conclusion to criminal proceedings - if possible, as early as the preliminary investigation stage. If a contentious trial cannot be avoided, we do not shy away from tough and confrontational disputes on the merits. In crisis situations, such as in the case of searches, pre-trial detention or asset seizures, we are immediately at the side of our clients and their relatives. The many years of experience, high degree of specialisation and personal commitment of our lawyers form the basis for achieving the best possible results in the interests of our clients.

Our understanding of professional criminal defence is the personal, comprehensive and far-sighted advice of our clients, which also includes the possible side effects of criminal proceedings in the form of tax law, professional law or civil law consequences, such as

• Questions of confiscation or profit skimming,
• Entries in registers (e.g. BZR, central trade register or corruption register),
• Bans on professions or activities (so-called inhability) and
• Reliability issues (e.g. in hunting, weapons or aviation law)
