The area of preventive criminal law advice ("compliance") has rapidly gained in importance for companies and their directors in recent years.

Our advisory approach therefore does not begin with the initiation of preliminary proceedings, but rather aims to avoid the emergence of company-related criminal proceedings by creating a functioning compliance system at best, or at least to reduce their consequences for the company as far as possible.

Due to our diverse client portfolio, ranging from medium-sized and municipal companies to listed national companies and international groups, we have a high level of experience in identifying company-specific risks at an early stage and taking suitable preventive measures. In addition to a well-founded risk analysis, this includes in particular the development of an appropriate set of rules, the realisation of training measures and the implementation of control mechanisms.

In addition, we coordinate and support the legally compliant investigation and prosecution of internal legal and compliance violations through internal investigations and any subsequent measures, such as the filing of criminal charges and support with recovery assistance.

We implement and operate legal whistleblowing or compliance hotlines for our clients in order to complete operational compliance management systems.
